On 9th September 2021, the Emergency Services Cenotaph was debated in the House of Commons. The 999 Cenotaph’s Cross Party Committee co-chairs, Sir Mike Penning MP and Yvette Cooper MP spoke of the need to have a lasting monument dedicated to the millions of people who have served in the NHS and emergency services.
